John Emerald Barrel Club is a unique whiskey and spirits membership where you get to experience your whiskeys as the distillers do. You can reserve memberships to barrels (you can think of them as “shares”) . You will then get to sample the whiskey or spirit in it’s un-aged/new-make form. After that each year you will get to taste the current year as well as revisit the previous year’s sample. This will allow you to experience the spirit as it evolves into a fully aged whiskey, not to mention give you access to the newest releases from John Emerald Distilling Company. Seeing our spirits evolve and mature in real time is one of the best parts about making whiskey and we are excited to share this experience with you.
Alabama Red Bourbon/Butler Bourbon

Alabama High Rye Bourbon
This high rye bourbon is made with 67% yellow dent corn, 25% rye, and 8% malted barley. All grains are grown in Alabama. This high rye bourbon will be released as a Bottled in Bond bourbon upon reaching the 4-year age.

This rye whiskey is made with 83% heirloom rye and 17% malted barley. All grains are grown in Alabama. This high rye bourbon will be released as a Bottled in Bond bourbon upon reaching the 4-year age.

John’s Alabama Single Malt Whiskey
This American single malt whiskey is made with 100% Alabama grown malted barley. This is the first legal whiskey distilled in Alabama since prohibition. These barrels will be held for a minimum of 4 years but possibly up to 6 years.
